Frequently asked questions
- How far back does the outage archive go?
- We've been tracking and archiving service outages since 2024. Every resolved incident is preserved with its timeline, severity, affected regions, and post-mortem when available.
- Which services are tracked?
- We track thousands of internet services across cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, Cloudflare), SaaS (Slack, Notion, GitHub), social, streaming, gaming, payments, messaging, AI providers, and more. New services are added continuously.
- How do you decide a service was 'down'?
- Our incident engine combines official status feeds, multi-region probes, and user reports. An incident is recorded only when independent signals agree, then severity is computed from blast radius and duration.
- Can I see outages by country?
- Yes. Filter any archive view by HQ country (where the company is headquartered) or affected country (where users reported issues). Toggle the mode in the filter rail.
- How fresh is this data?
- Resolved incidents appear in the archive within minutes of resolution. Aggregates (total downtime, top services) recompute every few minutes and are cached at the edge.
