Why a regional view matters

A cloud provider rarely goes "down" globally. Outages are almost always regional — a single AWS region, a single GCP zone, one Azure geography. A region-by-region view tells you whether the issue you're seeing is local to your deployment or affecting the wider provider footprint, so you can route around it instead of waiting for a status page to catch up.
